Julia Gilbert

Julia joined the firm’s New York office in 2001. Previously, she was a Vice President with a boutique search firm in NYC focused on financial services recruiting. Prior to that, she was an executive in the corporate offices of Ann, Inc (ANN). With twenty-five years of financial recruiting experience working with Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Growth Equity/Venture Capital and Family Offices, Julia focuses her searches at the Associate through Principal levels. She received a BA in History and Philosophy with honors from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.

Though Julia grew up on a cattle ranch in Northern New Mexico, she now calls Greenwich, CT home. When she is not recruiting, you can find her cheering for her teenage son at Brunswick School sporting events or on the road to Hanover to visit her daughter in college.
