Ann Kraftson

Ann has been based in the firm’s New York office for more than three decades. Her global expertise spans leveraged buyouts, growth equity, venture capital, and research-driven hedge funds. While she advises investment firms on talent strategy and recruiting needs, she has also played a key role in helping first-time funds build investment teams from the ground up. Ann earned a B.A. in Sociology from The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, in addition to being a Division I lacrosse student-athlete.

While she will never run another marathon, Ann welcomes a 5:00 a.m. hike in Acadia National Park with her husband, two grown children, and their Labrador Retrievers.

Ann serves on the Board of Directors of Horizons at The Episcopal Academy, which creates high-quality, evidence-based education and youth development programs designed to support K–12 students’ learning recovery.
